Calgary

Calgary

This is the frozen backwash of the Bow River in Calgary, on my family's old property.

It's one of the very few natural areas left in a city of butt-ugly subdivisions and strip malls. We had to sell it to the city when my grandmother died, but they're going to make it into a park.

It's a beautiful place full of happy and sad memories.
