Fireworks are difficult to take pictures of. Especially when you're in the Swiss Alps in the middle of the winter and you're freezing cold and your camera keeps trying to shut down because IT'S too cold!

Somehow I managed.

I remember this trip to the mountains really well. We went to see a hot air balloon festival, which was really amazing, but it was cold all day and at night it only got colder. Plus we all went and bought sleds and slid down the snowy hillsides for hours, so we were all a bit soggy. I drank a lot of hot chocolate and a lot of apple cider and tried to stay warm by a big burning log. Just thinking about it makes me cold! Time to snuggle up in bed!
