Sorry about the repetition!
To my new reader(s)
(And NOT the ones I've already spoken to about this!)
This blog is a place where two sorts of people come to hang out and read and leave comments. The first sort are the people who have stumbled upon this site on the internet for whatever reason. Many of these people are my friends. A few are what in real life I would call 'acquaintances.' And a very, very few are jerks. Sadly, I can't keep the jerks from reading. But I can make it a little more difficult for them to track me down. The other sort are the people who know me in real life. These people are for the most part good friends who I have given this address to.
The people I know in real life are also courteous in the following ways:
1) They do not post my real name on here, for whatever reason, in whatever context, in order to keep me relatively anonymous and protect me from the jerks. The people who don't know me in real life but do know my real name do the same. Nicknames only.
2) They do not give my address out to other people I know in real life without my permission. Which means that if you know me and I haven't given you authorization to read, you can either sod off, or remember that I am not accountable to real-life readers that I don't even know about. Or to anyone, for that matter.
So, no real names, and no giving out the address to everybody. Those are the rules.
